Welcome! Welcome to the Land of Imaginary Cats! I'm your guide and I hope to teach you all about those fantastical, fictional felines who creep in and out of our favorite movies, books, cartoons, comics, songs, legends, stationery, and oh, so much more. I'll try to stick to pretend kitties, but the occasional real cat might sneak its way in, if it seems to be a particularly relevant muse (mews? I'm not averse to horrible cat puns!) to a particularly relevant creator. Thank you for visiting! I'm so happy you're here!

Seymour Kneitel

And if you've been enjoying these Seymour Kneitel animated shorts, you can check out the Greater Phoenix Digital ArchiveHere's his page.  He did some Popeyes, some Little Audreys, and even some Caspers.  He directed hundreds of animated shorts.  He worked for Fleischer Studios, which became Famous Studios.  It's actually a bit more complicated than all that.  I'll write a full report when I know more about him!

For now, though, keeping with the cat theme, he did Sock-A-Bye Kitty, which you can download here.

And you can read about it here!
