I'm your guide and I hope to teach you all about those fantastical, fictional felines who creep in and out of our favorite movies, books, cartoons, comics, songs, legends, stationery, and oh, so much more. I'll try to stick to pretend kitties, but the occasional real cat might sneak its way in, if it seems to be a particularly relevant muse (mews? 25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy by Andy Warhol

In 1954, Andy Warhol made a book with his mother.  He drew the kitties; She did the calligraphy.
