The White Lion of Whipsnade
This photo gallery in the Telegraph shows chalk outlined figures in the British countryside. Most of these figures are horses or humans, but this lovely little lion was created in 1931 to identify the Whipsnade Wildlife Park. Their photo of the lion is worth a look too.
