Snowman on the Sill

I wanted to bring a snowman inside the house, but this was as far as he would go. He seems quite happy, though, and every time I see him, I can't help but smile back.

And now on to our blog!

I wanted to bring a snowman inside the house, but this was as far as he would go. He seems quite happy, though, and every time I see him, I can't help but smile back.
So, I've finally gotten over my fear of amigurumi and have made this little creature. When I put the face on, it will look more cat-like, but for now, it looks like a little bear. I've tucked away all those strands of yarn, too, but I was too excited to wait before I took the picture.
Isn't it cute? And isn't it weird how its ears glow? I'm very happy with it, at least. And I hope to have more to show soon!

Here's a rather blurry photo of a very cute thing! It's a little snowman that I needle felted just the other day. I think I'll make more!
What's Hot:
1. Finishing projects I started long ago - I had a large biscuit tin full of unfinished needle felting projects. I just didn't have the right tools to work on it properly. My husband bought a felting mat for me and I've been so happy working on my little felted friends ever since! I'm even considering a completely needle felted Christmas! (These are 2 of my little flower friends in the picture!)
2. Looking forward to a delicious meal tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
3. Looking forward to life in an RV. We're going to become a roaming family for a little bit to see our friends on the West Coast and to stay connected with our Kentucky family.
4. A little boy who turned 5. He's an amazing little boy and I'm so glad I get to share his life with him.
5. The beautiful autumn weather.
6. Quiet Time - We've been very good at establishing a time for the whole family to work quietly while the youngest sleeps. It's a nice break in the day to be creative, productive, or just to take a nap.
What's Not:
I'm in such a good mood that it's really hard to think of something that's not hot.
And since it's Thanksgiving and it's a time to think graciously, I'll pass on the Not part this week. Maybe next time!
